Welcome on the Dutch website about rips and ripcurrents. This website was started originally in 2004. As a result of a long investigation tot the cause behind the occurence of ripcurrents and the lack of good information to the users of the Dutch beaches it
was decided to start a website for sharing this knowledge and indirectly preventing people to go into the water without knowing what dangers there are. It is a Dutch website and some parts are translated.
